Sapporo Beerfest returns to Yawaragi at Hotel Okura Manila this September 18 and 19, bringing together free-flowing Sapporo, an abundant Japanese buffet, music, entertainment, and good company for two nights of celebration.
Sapporo Beerfest is back, returning to Yawaragi at Hotel Okura Manila for another celebration of great beer, exceptional Japanese food, and the simple pleasure of enjoying both with good company.
This year’s edition comes at an especially meaningful time as Sapporo celebrates 150 years of Japanese brewing heritage. Born in Hokkaido in 1876, Sapporo has carried its iconic North Star through generations, becoming one of Japan’s most recognizable beer names around the world.
In Manila, that heritage comes to life the best way it knows how: over a freshly poured glass.
From one night to a beerfest tradition
What began as a one-night event has grown into a two-night celebration. Since its first edition, Sapporo Beerfest has brought together beer lovers, food enthusiasts, friends, and fans of Japanese culture for an experience that feels less like a traditional beer festival and more like a night out in Japan, without leaving Manila.
This year, guests can once again expect free-flowing Sapporo Premium and Sapporo Premium Black on draft, along with a special Beerfest pour: the “Holiday Beer,” a 50/50 combination of Sapporo Premium and Sapporo Premium Black in one glass.
The Holiday Beer lets guests experience both expressions of Sapporo in a single pour, the crisp and refreshing character of Sapporo Premium meeting the deeper, roasted notes of Sapporo Premium Black.
But the beer is only one part of the experience.

At the heart of Sapporo Beerfest is the opportunity to experience the Japanese buffet of Yawaragi at Hotel Okura Manila.
