Fans gather at Cove Manila for two nights of all-out local music
Okada Manila lit up with the energy of Filipino music and freedom as it successfully held the fifth edition of Malaya Music Fest last June 14 and 15, 2025 at Cove Manila, the resort’s iconic indoor beach club and event venue.
Now firmly established as a flagship celebration of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), this year’s festival drew thousands of fans over two high-octane nights filled with iconic hits, indie breakthroughs, and show-stopping performances—all celebrating the spirit of Filipino pride and independence.
Presented by Coca-Cola Philippines, San Miguel Beer, and Quantum, with Rakuten Viber and Radyo5 TrueFM as media partners, Malaya Music Fest 2025 pulled out all the stops with a powerhouse artist lineup, world-class production, and the unique beachfront vibe of Cove Manila.

June 14 saw the legendary Ely Buendia deliver a fiery 90-minute set that had the crowd singing every word. He shared the stage with beloved acts Mayonnaise, I Belong to the Zoo, and fast-rising talents Amiel Sol and The Vowels They Orbit, all backed by the pulsating beats of DJ Phillip Japor, who kicked off the evening.
June 15 raised the volume even higher as Kamikazee brought their signature chaos and charisma to a 90-minute headlining set. The night also featured powerful performances by Sandwich, Silent Sanctuary, Earl Agustin, Hey June!, and party anthems from DJ Lovezy, keeping the energy at full tilt until the very last note.
From nostalgic anthems to breakout indie sounds, this year’s Malaya Music Fest once again proved to be a must-experience celebration of Pinoy artistry, identity, and freedom.
