Themed Beauty Beyond Time, Beauty Addict celebrates its 6th year with a focus on the transcending beauty looks throughout the ages as they highlighted the most impactful beauty trends of the decades. Because as the world changes or even as history repeats itself, so do trends and looks—with many carrying on through the years to become timeless.

From the Old Hollywood glam of the Roaring Twenties to the women of the ‘50s who were purveyors of the dramatic winged eye and the red lips; from the full and filled brows of the ‘60s to the full bangs and beauty fun of the Psychedelic ‘70s; from the badass beauty of the ‘90s hip-hop world to today’s modern minimalism, the spaces at Rustan’s Makati were transformed to reflect the best of the decades.
A fun and fabulous 1950s retro diner welcomed VIPs, the press, guests, and Beauty Addict members as they entered Rustan’s The Beauty Source. It was indeed a party for people of all ages filled with happenings that brought generations together: from a live ‘90s hip-hop photo booth complete with a magic mirror, to hippie and disco-themed photo walls, the gilded Gatsby-themed party had beauty enthusiasts enjoying great music, and canapés as they trek through the chicest beauty hub in the Metro.

As Rustan’s The Beauty Source celebrated the beauty of each decade and commemorated the relevance of various trends to modern life, it also chose to give back and support ICanServe Foundation, a proponent of early breast cancer detection, helping “educate and empower women to be more conscious of their breast care,” especially in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
