Fresh from winning three major accolades at this year’s Skytrax Awards including World’s Best Economy Class, Thai Airways will hold a three-day all-inclusive travel fair from October 12 – 14, 2018 at the Grand Atrium, Shangri-La Ortigas to let visitors experience its award-winning customer service and traditional Thai hospitality.
Aptly named “Travel with THAI”, the event will give visitors a variety of reasons to travel with Thai Airways: Business, Leisure, Culinary, Educational and even special niche market-oriented tours. Aside from special promotional fares to be sold onsite, the travel fair will showcase Thai Airways’ legendary Royal Orchid Service covering all customer touch points: Reservations, Ticketing, Airport Check-In and Cargo.
Graced by popular host and eventologist Tim Yap on opening day, the fair will feature special travel partners who will highlight various aspects of a traveler’s journey.
Selected embassies will showcase their country’s popular destinations and will answer queries regarding visa requirements.
The Thai concept of ‘Ayatana’ will be introduced via five Experience Booths.
Culinary icon Sandy Daza will share his favorite Thai recipe in a cooking demo.
And to dazzle the audience, world-renowned Alcazar Cabaret will provide entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
Two tickets to THAI’s popular destinations: Thailand and Europe will be raffled off on October 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM for passengers who have made onsite ticket purchases using Mastercard. There will be fun family games and the first 6 attendees to purchase tickets per day get to pick a special prize from choice Thai Airways giveaways.
This Thai Airways-Mastercard event is also sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dusit Thani Hotel and Amazon Café. The travel fair will be open to the public on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
