Yes; Buffalo Wild Wings (B-Dubs, to those in the know) has become Manila’s wings-and-things sensation, and has recently opened its third branch in the Philippines in upscale Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City. Now, more people can take a walk on the wild side, B-Dubs style.

B-Dubs has, through the years, definitely earned its wings and is now soaring high across the friendly food skies. In February of this year, Buffalo Wild Wings Philippines (which is a part of the The Bistro Group, renowned restaurant owners and operators) received the Culinary Excellence Award at the Yearly Business Conference held in Orlando Florida. The award was given in recognition of the restaurant chain’s dynamic menu development, excellent kitchen standards, and consistency of execution of the various dishes.
 
 
The restaurant’s award-winning wings are hand-spun (as against machine-spun) fresh, each time, in your favorite sauces or dry-rub ingredients. Hand-spinning the wings allows for a more even coating of your fave flavor. There are 18 different sauces and dry ingredients from which to choose, to coat your order of wings, with each sauce or dry-rub falling somewhere within the Blaze Meter spectrum: from mild Sweet BBQ sauce, to the wildest of the wild, smoke-coming-out-of-your-ears seriously spicy hot Blazin’ sauce. On the bestsellers list are the Mango Habanero, which is third to the spiciest (This one’s deliciously sweet, but spicy enough to turn your lips red!), and the decidedly much milder Lemon Pepper dry rub. Each order of wings is served with celery and carrot sticks, with your choice of Blue Cheese or Ranch Dip.

Wings go seriously well with a nice cold brew (or two), especially when rooting for your favorite team, and B-Dubs certainly has an extensive roster of imported, draft and local beers from which to choose. Those inclined to have a less spirited drink need not worry, as there is a wide range of alcohol-free beverages, as well.
 
 
Food-lovers looking to maybe change things up a bit will drool over menu offerings such as shareable dishes—from burgers and sandwiches, to wraps, pizzas, and flat breads. On the must-try list are the Pulled Pork Sandwich (hickory-smoked hand pulled pork tossed in the Buffalo Wild Wings sauce of your choice) and the Sourdough Soft Pretzels (three large soft pretzels, lightly salted, oven-baked and served warm with jalapeño cheese dip and caramel dip). Limited-time special offerings – like the Game Day Platter and the Touchdown Trio (super tender barbeque ribs, one-half fried chicken OR traditional wings and crispy pork ribs) are shareable crowd pleasing plates.

This is evident as soon as one walks into the restaurant: large, high-definition flat screen televisions are just about everywhere (at the new branch in Uptown Mall, there are 28 flat screen TVs, spread out over 320 square meters of dining space), sports memorabilia accentuates the walls and surfaces of the contemporary interiors.
