Seafolly celebrates a new presence in the heart of the Philippines, Manila. Nestled inside Rustan’s Makati sits the new concept store inspired by the brand’s island home, Australia. Boasting a brightly-lit store in a 28-square meter space located on the second floor, Seafolly offers a beautiful range of swimwear, ready-to-wear and accessories.
“Known as The Pearl of the Orient, the Philippines is comprised of over 7,000 tropical islands. Home to some of the world’s best beaches, it’s a destination of every beach lover’s dream. Opening doors was a natural next step for one of the world’s most iconic swimwear brands. The locals enjoy tropical retreats and we at Seafolly look forward to endorsing that lifestyle.” Comments Gina Anstee, Asian Business Development Manager.
Paul Kotraba, Chief Executive Officer comments: “As part of our global expansion strategy, opening Seafolly brand anchors internationally is key. Seafolly has a strong international wholesale business that has delivered healthy year on year growth, however we see significant opportunities to expand on this business and become a market leader reflective of our position in our home market, Australia.” The Rustan’s stores will house pieces from the newest Seafolly collection. The collection perfectly balances Seafolly’s signature silhouettes inspired by current on-trend designs to deliver an all-encompassing range for the beach, the gym and beyond. Modern, yet luxurious – High Summer’s colour palette is enriched with warm earthy tones of burnt amber and olive. Most momentously are the energy-enhancing prints which span across swim, active and effortless apparel styles.
LOVE BIRD: A nostalgic and feminine story of old world charm and romance combine in this traditional French inspired trend. Moving on from the botanical floral, new romantic trends have reimagined chintzy furnishing florals as a new print captured in colourways of blue on white or black on peach in a textured waffle fabrication.
INKA STRIPE: Reinventing the much loved nautical trends this season inspires an update of our popular rib base in a French monochromatic pinstripe. Fleshed out with 80’s inspired swim shapes, whilst eyelets and bow ties are a subtle nod to 50s ‘pin up’ styling. We have a shape to fit everyone.
DUSK TO DAWN: Modern and sensuous lingerie trends are crushing on velvet and so are we, bringing a new richness and depth to swim, active and over swim. Lingerie meets retro sportsluxe with elastic striped banding, a contrast to our special crushed velvet that comes in bluestone and pink sand hues.
