Long a leader of Turkey’s culinary revolution, The Bodrum EDITION launched by Ian Schrager, in partnership with Marriott International, is delighted to announce new chef collaborations and a pop-up into its culinary calendar for the upcoming season.
Further bolstering the hotel as a top destination for summer travel and beyond, The Bodrum EDITION reopened its doors on 19th April with a unique dining, drinking and entertainment program unlike any other in the region. Open to hotel guests and the public alike, the offerings will be available for all to book and experience at the hotel’s dining outlets and will be served in addition to the contemporary Aegean & Anatolian cuisine at Kitchen by Osman Sezener, Asian Fusion specialties at Morena by Inari Omakase, while the signature Peruvian and Latin American concept by celebrity chef Diego Muñoz continues at Brava.
2021 culinary season highlights include:
At Morena – The Bodrum EDITION’s all-day restaurant – executive chef and Peruvian free-rider Diego Muñoz is collaborating with the finest Asian restaurant in Istanbul, Inari Omakase. The vibrant space will evolve from an informal laidback setting during the day into the Inari pop-up in the evening, to serve an elevated dinner menu incorporating Japanese flair.
With eyes on guest preferences as well as the latest culinary trends, the new pop-up will bring the very best of fine dining in the capital to Bodrum, with a new and curated menu that celebrates the biodiversity of the environment, while using only the freshest local produce that Turkey has to offer. Inari has a long-standing tradition of flavour and culture fusions, making this pop-up collaboration the ideal seaside pairing of East meets West.
At Kitchen, the restaurant joins forces with renowned Turkish celebrity Chef, Osman Sezener, recently awarded GQ Chef of the Year and creator of critically acclaimed, Od Urla. Osman has created a new concept to open the enchanting space for dinner, with a menu that truly supports the local community and immerses guests in the wonderful array of indigenous flavours. Many of the ingredients presented are sustainably sourced from nearby farms, as well as the property’s own gardens. Comprising fresh produce including herbs, salad greens, vegetables as well as the freshest fish and meat, presented at Kitchen is all about exploring Turkish Coast.
Diego Muñoz has cooked in across the globe in Paris, Sydney, Lima, Bali, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Miami and as many cities as you can count, but his roots are strongly linked to Peruvian soil. As always, at BRAVA, the foodie favourite and the hotel’s signature al-fresco restaurant, offers an enhanced Peruvian inspired menu for the 2021 season and features authentic dishes, such as an array of freshly locally sourced crudos and well-known traditional dishes, such as Lomo Saltado and Nikkei Ceviche.
At BRAVA Bar, the beverage concept is built on inventive mixology that compliments the local flavors found in the region that are artfully presented as well as paying homage to Latin America. As Bodrum’s hotspot for events in the evening, BRAVA will continue to host an exciting number of collaborations with renowned names in music, art and fashion, for its fourth season and beyond.
Re-launched for this upcoming season, the elegantly relaxed Morena Beach has been enhanced to offer more private cabanas by the striking white sand beach where hotel guests and local visitors enjoy handcrafted cocktails and al fresco dining. International and local DJs will take-up guest residencies for the summer entertainment programme, with past high-profile guests such as DJ Behrouz, IAM and Styl-IST hosting a series of beach parties every Friday and Saturdays.
Along with the new and exciting offerings at the Morena Beach, guests at The Bodrum EDITION can enjoy the rest of the hotel’s offering, with spa and wellness experiences including daily complimentary yoga sessions, INSCAPE, EDITION’s meditation partner and yacht trips, just to name a few.
In line with the philosophy of the brand, a successful program brings the best artists and musicians in their fields together for a summer of unlimited entertainment for the 2021 season.
As guests consider their upcoming travel plans, the hotel wants to make the experience as worry-free as possible and are doing everything they can to provide a safe, seamless and ultimately enjoyable experience at the hotel. The Bodrum EDITION continues to take precautionary measures to ensure guests’ wellbeing and for the hotel’s employees. The hotel has heightened their already stringent practices around food handling, sanitisation, disinfection and cleaning, plus specific measures based on the guidance of local health authorities and the current situation in Turkey.
Bookings are open now starting from 19th of April. Non-hotel guests can also enjoy access to Beach Club (T&Cs apply).
