New York’s West Elm opens its second store at Central Square
Brooklyn-born furniture and home decor retailer West Elm recently opened its newest store at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street, four years after opening its first Philippine location at Estancia in Capitol Commons in 2014.
Taking its cue from the global brand’s mission to enrich lives by harnessing the power of design and human connections, the new West Elm Central Square store is highly Instagrammable to say the least. It prominently features West Elm’s Fall 2018 collection as seen in its main pillar aesthetics for the season: Manhattan living inspired by a modern look; “organic architecture” inspired by the idea of clean, pure lines and colors; and Italy’s mid-century bohemian luxe vibe inspired by a global theme.

Designed to make an impact in everyday life, West Elm pieces are meticulously made to speak to people’s every life stage, decorating taste, and budget. For Fall 2018, modern, streamlined style, retro accents, textures, rich fabrics, prints, and bright pops of color will bring in bold and elevated style to your home.
Liven up the living room with interesting colored furniture and chairs like the Rosanna Media Console in yellow lacquer or the Phoebe chair in Pop Art Jacquard upholstery, or the Crescent swivel chair in Teal. If sleek, sexy leather is your thing, go with the grey leather Sloane sofa.

Hosted by Tim Yap, more than a hundred VIPs came to celebrate West Elm’s store launch including celebrities and social media influencers. To make the night even more fun, there were on-site activities like essential oil making by wellness advocate, Gina Evangelista of Oilyholics and tote bag personlization by CalligraMama, Fozzy Castro-Dyrit of The Fozzy Book. Sumptuous food was served as top blogger and fashion personality Chuvaness was invited to spin beats for the guests.
West Elm also partnered with celebrity and artist Heart Evangelista-Escudero to have one of her artworks featured on special edition tote bags that were given out to guests at the event. The bag will also be available for sale during and after the store launch. Proceeds of the sale will go to Heart’s charity, St. Luke’s Corridor of Hope.
