In an aim to strengthen partnerships between the Chamber and the Philippine Trade and Investment Centre (PTIC), Embassy of the Philippines in the UK, BCCP Chairman Chris Nelson had a productive meeting with Ambassador Antonio Manuel R. Lagdameo on June 29th in London, United Kingdom. The two leaders discussed possible synergies and activities where they can collaborate to boost market interest and trade between the UK and the Philippines.
While in London, Mr Nelson met a number of British companies that have keen interest to do business in the Philippines. He provided market advice on setting up local operations and offered the Chamber’s business support services to aid the companies in their market entry to the country. In his recent interview by Global Trade Review (GTR), Mr. Nelson also discussed the big opportunities that lie in the Philippine market for foreign investors and exporters, particularly for UK companies.
