On Oct. 6 and 7, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila and the German Club Manila will be celebrating the highly-anticipated 79th German Club Oktoberfest.
Now on its 8th year at Sofitel, the fun-filled celebration will again be held at Sofitel’s expansive Harbor Garden Tent, where – paying homage to time-honored Bavarian customs, the marquee will be transformed into a traditional biergärten for the most authentic staging of Oktoberfest in the country.
With each evening hosting more than 2,000 guests, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s master chefs showcase a grand feast of sumptuous Bavarian specialties featuring roasted pork knuckles, roasted calf, laugen rolls, grilled German sausages and mouthwatering pastries with unlimited ice-cold San Miguel Beer.

An exciting evening awaits guests as musical entertainment will be featuring The Bavarian Sound Express, who will be flying in from Germany to regale participants with traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest music and international hits.
The fun-filled program is also lined up with events like the annual beer-drinking contest, and the raffle draw with a grand prize that takes the winner to their German destination of choice.


Following an evening of gastronomic indulgence and live musical entertainment, Oktoberfest guests may book a weekend getaway at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila for a relaxing urban retreat. Featured room rates start at PhP6,000nett per night.
