The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines will be holding its 27th Soirée Beaujolais on November 24, 2017 at the Harbor Garden Tent of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. This prestigious event coincides with the 70th year of the France-Philippines relations and the 70th year of the Cannes Film Festival.

Last year, CCI France Philippines took its guests to Versailles where they partied with Marie-Antoinette and her gang. This year, guests will be invited to La vie sous les projecteurs as CCI France Philippines rolls out the red carpet as they take them to Cannes to celebrate the world renowned Cannes Film Festival. The event is primarily inspired by the iconic red carpet steps of the timeless film festival, where guests will arrive in their 1950’s French glamour outfits swarmed by the paparazzi and red carpet reporters as they enter the venue. The famous La Croisette of the city of Cannes will be recreated at the harbor garden deck of the Sofitel where guests will be reminded of the prominent boulevard in Cannes, France. La Croisette stretches along the Mediterranean Sea and is known as the location of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrés where the Cannes Film Festival is held annually.

Soirée Beaujolais is the annual gala of CCI France Philippines. It welcomes the arrival of the young wine, Beaujolais Nouveau. This harvest is celebrated not only in France, but amongst French communities all over the world. In November of every year, 65 million bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau is exported and shared worldwide to celebrate this great French tradition. On its 27th year, CCI France Philippines is again celebrating Soirée Beaujolais with overflowing French wine for its guests.

Soirée Beaujolais is supported by several companies and members of the French Chamber.
