Together with Hard Rock Cafes around the world, the Manila and Makati branches of the beloved chain of theme bar-restaurants have thrown their chefs caps into the ring for the ‘World Burger Tour,’ Hard Rock Cafe International’s highly anticipated culinary competition.
The fun-filled festivities for this homage to homegrown kicked off at Hard Rock Cafe Manila with a melodic bang, as the crowd grooved to the soulful tunes of none other than Filipino powerhouse songstress, Jinky Vidal. Back in the Philippines for a spell from her current place of residence in Canada, Vidal took to the stage, with zeal, for her “Homecoming” concert, after a rousing set from Hard Rock regulars, Lockdown band. The night had the crowd singing and swaying along, which certainly set the stage for an epic month ahead.

Get ready to sink your teeth into the ultimate burger showdown as Hard Rock Cafe International presents the “World Burger Tour,” a global gastronomic battle to see which burger will reign supreme across participating countries, worldwide.
From sizzling sisig to mouthwatering adobo, the R&D team at Hard Rock Cafe Manila has cooked up some serious contenders: the Sisig Burger and the Adobo Burger, as official entries, with the Jackfruit Burger as a vegetarian-friendly limited edition option.
“We’ll be promoting three different kinds of locally inspired burgers, two of which will be our official entries to the competition. The patties have all been inspired by local flavors, because we want to present our food to the world and introduce what we have to offer to Hard Rock Cafes, globally. The official entries are the Adobo Burger and the Sisig Burger. We also have a Jackfruit Burger, a vegetarian version, which is inspired by the jackfruit vegetable dish, cooked in coconut milk. We are ready to compete. Hopefully one of our entries comes out as a winner, so we can really elevate Filipino flavors on the global stage,” Brian Peck, Hard Rock Cafe Manila’s Director of Operations, said.
